Karmann Ghia

My first real car was a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. I loved that car and still miss it to this day. I always wanted a Karmann Ghia and a Bus too, but could never afford them. Now it’s impractical for me to own a Beetle, Ghia or Bus here in Tokyo, so instead I collect models. This model of a ’66 Karmann Ghia was given to me as a birthday present by my friend Shin Ichikawa (the guy who also built my signature model guitar for me). Shin said he spent about 6 months working on this model, so it is a real honor for me to have it. It’s now the center of my collection.

Kuro-chan

This is my friend Kuro-chan. She will be moving to the US for a year to work and study English. She agreed to let me take some pics of her before she leaves. This was taken with a Fuji X-T1 with an 18-135 Fujinon lens. I messed around with the B&W JPEG from the camera using Snapseed on an iPad Air.
